Nutella Cupcakes with Nutella Butter Cream Frosting

My lil sister visited me home today and told that all her frens in college are fond of eating... SO i decided to make a goodies box for her with her favorite Nutella Cup Cakes. This time I did frosting too. yayy yayy :)

I use Punjab Sind White butter for frosting and Amul Yellow Butter for cupcakes.


For Cup Cakes

  • Butter : 100 gram (1/2 cup)
  • Brown Sugar : 100 gram (1/2 cup)
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour : 80 gram (3/4 cup)
  • Cocoa Powder : 25 gram (1/4 cup)
  • Milk : 40 ml
  • 100 gram soft Nutella
For Butter Cream
  • Butter : 100 gram
  • Icing Sugar : 225 gram
  • Nutella : 30 gram
  • 1 tbsp Milk

For Cupcake
  • In a bowl, whisk together the butter and brown sugar till tje brown sugar specks start disappearing.
  • Add the eggs and whisk till light and fluffy.
  • In another bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and fold the above mixture with a spatula. Ass the milk and mix thoroughly.
  • Line cupcake moulds with liners and scopp batter into each liner till 2/3 full.
  • Bake at 180 C for 15 minutes in convection mode such that when inserted in the centre of the cake, comes out clean.
  • Once the cupcakes have cooled, make a hole in the middle of each cupcake with a knofe and spoon in the Nutella.
For Frosting
  • In a bowl, whisk the butter till smooth.
  • Gradually add the icing sugar and whisk till mixed.
  • Add milk and and beat to combine.
  • Add Nutella and keep beating till the frosting is light and fluffy.
  • Put the frosting in piping bag and let it rest in fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Pipe it over cook cupcakes.
